One Week Left

Okay, so I have one week left before I can start writng my first full blown novel and only thirty days to do it. Did I mention it needs to be at least 50,000 words? I think I have the bones all put together for a great read adn cannot begin to write it!!
What am I doing in the meantime....Updating my popular fanfiction story Right or Wrong? And boy have I been popping out the chapters, what started off as a writers block is now full blown writers addiction. I say enjoy it now, as soon as November 1 hits, it will all be about the Shadows of Darkness.
Currently, the only thing I need to play around with is if I want to put a supernatural twist on it and introduce my character from Angel of Darkness. We will see how it starts off. I am not the biggest planner when it comes to writing, I just like to write what the characters want to tell.

Yep, that about sums up what I have been doign the past couple of days. Now that I have my subject, I have my main character defined. I see the novel being played out in my head, so I did an internet search looking for 17 year old actresses in which I see my MC looking like and lo an dbehold she is out there!!
So here you go my faithful followers of my writing - Synopsis of Shadow of Darkness -
Meet Lyra Ahston 17 year old brunette with blue eyes. Grew up in N. Atlanta suberbs. At 15 she was in a terrible car accident and needed to have a liver transplant. A donor came in about the same time with a perfect match. But the medical team was too rushed and hurryed to follow protocal and testing, all they saw was he had on a donor braclet. Lrya recieved the transplant and about 2 years later was diagnosed as having HIV. The Ashton Family decides that life in the big city will not be good for their daughter so they decide to move to Small Town, USA. At first she tries to keep her secrets, but we all know that in small towns, there is no such thing. The town goes nuts and crazy, trying to make the family leave that they are brigning death to the town. But one boy decides to go against his own family and befriends her!
As the story progress look for updates!! Need to go off and do some more research!

Well, it is officially completed, Best Friends Forever or Not, that is. But one character I have decided to explore even farther. I have decided to take Macy's character and change her a bit and comitted to writing my novel for the month of November for NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month). I am excited to be doign this project. When I started to recently do research I was astounded to find out that AIDS is the 6th leading casue of death among the ages of 13-25.
With this decision, Macy will be changing, I am keeping the name Macy but giving her a face lift. Need to so it won't be Twilight related anymore. I will post some snippets every once in a while. I am determined to finish it by November 30!!

Well, here we are in October and I am working on the final chapter of Best friends Forever or Not? I wanted to say that it has been an emotional roller coaster of a ride!! I have been on a path of writing a story that has not been told in many Twilight Fanfictions and I think that I have accomplished that. I have posted a picture of MB Designs for all of you to see, which can also has a link to on my FF Bio page. Thank you to all of you have been reading and writing ins some wonderful reviews.

So, I was going through my site this morning and figured I would post to all of you that have been checking in on me. Hi, to my new site memebers and thank you for joining me!!
As many of you know, I have been doing some major updating on my Fanfiction story: Best Friends Forever or Not? the story is quickly coming to an end and I have been actually going back through some of it and paying even more attention to the last few chapters that I posted and I am thinking of doing a re-write on it and changing it a bit to make it not Twilight based. then see what it looks like and send it off to a few publishers to get thoughts.
I am sure though it is a story that has been done several times, one actually pops into mind the 1980's movie Beaches, except I do not think it was Breast Cancer. Which actually brings me to the point of the my blog.
BFF or Not, I realize has touched on some pretty hard issues, Breast Cancer, druggies, HIV/AIDS and to some it has been tough to read, because womwhere in our lives we have known somebody. I have sit out to tell a story like no other and I think I have succeed. With that being said the story will have its final chapter posted on October 4, but in the mean time, there is still alot for me to write about. From my guess with all the outlining I have done, it looks like a good 5 chapters or so.
Does Bella die in the end? My lips are sealed, but you all know that there are only 2 people that will or can die. So, be patient, and I have already given you all some very unexpected twists and turns!!
Now, as soon as BFF is complete, I will more than likely be taking a step back from Fanfiction to focus on my own writing. I know I have a couple of stories that are hanging and then Right or Wrong which is at a standstill right now. I will be completing R/W, just not sure how often. I am determined to finish at least one of my own ideas by the new year and I am behind.

Chugging along, that is how I feel!! I am feeling pulled in different directions as I write. I want to be faithful to my Fanfiction fans as well as being faithful to my own characters. I guess that is why so many writers take breaks and only do onething at a time. I am working on having updates for my stories by the weekend, which seems to be my time of the week to get things out to all of you.
Angel of Darkness is starting to feel like a baby to me. I love seeing the characters growing. I have Rebecca who is becoming her own person and her father and step mother being supportive, she is hearing her "Angel's" voice more and more and I cannot wait to have them meet. Even though I have the scene outlined, it is going to be even more fun to actually write it out in detail! I also have an intimate scene that is trying hard to escape my head as well. Nothing major or huge, more of just learning bout each other!
I am also excited that some of my stories have been asked to be on a few Twilight fans sites, most of them are member only. As soon as I get more information, I will add links.
I have also decided to start taking more time for myself, something I never get to do. Hopefully having an hour or so daily to focus on me will also help get the creative juices flowing better.
It is the slow time at work right now, which means I am able to get some writing done there as well. Which is wonderful, as I have not been having the best internet connection!!
Since there is not much else to report, I will get back to my story...

I have been enjoying my time at the computer lately. Been trying to type on a daily basis and get some good solid footing in the ground. The story that is taking on the most shape is Angel of Darkness. I love seeing my characters come to life adn take shape. They are just beginning to tell em the story, which is how I like to write. I am introducing Rebecca to Claire, her stepmother right now, who is a true Southern Bell!
It won't be long before our lead male will make is presence more known. Elijah Angel will be one that you all will fall in love with. Mysterious, a little dark, and downright gorgeous. I will not be posting anymore snippets for that story for a while! Sorry! But you will be able to follow a general idea of how it goes with my Fanfiction story Choices - Right/Wrong?
Also you can look for updates on my two fanfiction stories by the end of the weekend. My goal is to at least post once a week! So sit tight!

My newest story is heading along perfectly. I have my two main characters all wrapped up and sealed with a pretty red bow. I really think that you all will enjoy seeing these two come alive. Go check out the writing section for a quick short read. I am actually taking my Fanfiction story Right/Wrong? and making it my own.
Rebecca Davis is seventeen year old Atlanta resident who has been raped and finds out later that she is pregnant. On the night of the rape she meets Elijah Angel, mysterious green eyes and blond hair, who seems to know more about Rebecca than he lets on. Who is Elijah and why is it the only time she sees him it is dark. But the better question is What is he??
I have also startedon another story which is starting to make some wonderful progess as well, somewhat based on my own real life experience liviing with Bi-polar disorder and my own children. This is one that will be dear and close to my heart. I iwll not be posting much on this story as I want it to be perfect.

Boy, oh boy, do I wish I had more time on my hands!! I have been putting my writing on the back burner, mostly thanks to the wonderful and anticipating release of Breaking Dawn. Which I have read and still trying to decide if I truly like it. But I will not go there!
As far as my own journey of my books, I am actually in the middle of three ideas: mermaids, a YA novel and a cross that has potential to be an adult Romance or YA. Three very different basis, all of which are about the same length so far.
I have also decided that I am going to be taking a break from writing Fan Fiction for a few months just so I can concentrate on my own ideas and plot lines. I truly want this for myself and the only way I can accomplish that is if I focus 100% on it. I will be continuing to update my stories but not at the same level of frequency as before!
I will be keeping a better BLOG as well. So check back often. Right now first prioity is to get some of this site more user freiendly and equiped with all of my ideas!

Sorry for not coming on sooner and letting you knoow how my new journey is going, but life has been hetic to say the least. On a hppy note though, I will be now have a lttle more free time to write and work on this. I have just completed Girls Just Wanna Have Fun last night and lets just say it was an emotional ride. I will just be adding a play list of music thathelped inspired me and songs that were used or mentioned! I think that it will make reading more enjoyable for all of you future readers!
On the book front, I think I have finally found the voice in which I have been struggling with and believe it or not, it came last night! For those that read Fanfiction, you will be getting some great sneek peaks as I enter a few oneshots, into a Twilight Challenge. The only difference will be changing of characters around and locations, but other than that, I found what I am looking for. I will be posting the "real" story and copyrighting it on FictionPress.
ALso look in the writing section soon to see a free writing snippets as I kept up with butchering my novel. It is not edited and is very rough, but like i said, I found my voice!
